In 2021 we went on a trip to the Azores
archipelago. These islands can be found in the Atlantic
Ocean, some 1,000 miles from the European Mainland and are
Portuguese territory. We planned this trip for last year,
but the Corona pandemic got in the way. This year we were
able to pull it off. We visited five islands in three weeks:
: Terceira, Pico, Faial, Flores and São Miguel. On the
way back we stopped over in Lissabon for three days.
Most of our inter island travel was by air and on the islands
will rented a car. Below
