Spring
2020 we went on a 10 day trip to Suriname. Suriname
is a country in South America, North of Brazil, wedged between
Guyana and French Guyana. Until 1975 it was part of the
Kingdom of the Netherlands. In addition to visiting the
capital city of Paramaribo and around, we also made a trip to
Nickerie on the western border, and travelled up along the
Suriname River to Berg and Dal resort. We rented a car
locally for the trip to Nickerie and Berg en Dal. You
