| The
Fit for Free Dance Parade rages through the city for the 13th time
running. In total a crowd of around 350,000 will come to Rotterdam to
join the dance, trance, techno, drum&bass and eclectic. With lots of
decibels and a outrageous crowd the inner city of Rotterdam will be
turned into a giant open air dance club. The Fit For Free has no less
than 40 participating floats and therefor one of Europe's largest events
of this kind.
The Parade starts at 1pm. The parade will be kicked of with a warm-up at noon on the Boompjes embankment, hosted by Bingo Players "I will follow". The parade ends at 6pm on the Lloyd Multiplein fair ground. The route is as follows: Boompjes, Verlengde Willemsbrug, Blaak, Westblaak, Eendrachtsplein, Rochussenstraat, Pieter de Hooch bridge, Pieter Hoochweg, Westzeedijk, Lloyd Multiplein fair ground. After the parade you can join the Closing Party. Party starts at 4pm and will come to a spectacular close at 11pm.
