| In November the Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish Seamen's missions organise their annual Christmas fairs in Rotterdam. At these fairs there is a wide range of Scandinavian food, drink, art and craft ware, design, clothing and of course Christmas decorations for sale. You can also get a taste of Scandinavian meals, snacks and sweets. A glass of Glögg, the traditional Christmas drink (a kind of Glühwein) should not be missed. Each of the fairs has its own specialties. The profits of the markets go to the good works of the the churches. Below you find a list of dates, times, addresses and specialties. |
